A Cape Breton girl was handled for non life-threatening accidents Monday afternoon after she was stabbed by an acquaintance, in line with police.
Cape Breton Regional Police say they responded to a “disturbance weapons complaint” in an house on the 300 block of Charlotte Road in Sydney, N.S., at 2:15 p.m. When officers arrived, they realized there had been an altercation between two girls, one had been stabbed.
Police say each girls, who’re recognized to one another, had been arrested on the scene. The sufferer was handled at hospital for her accidents.
The Main Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit at the moment are investigating and expenses are pending.
